Q1. I am taking a 9th semester. Can I request a grade withdrawal for a course I took since the 2005 academic year?
A1. Yes, you can. Grade withdrawal is available from the 7th semester (Becomes the 4th year of study).
Q2. If I take a course that has a grade withdrawn once again, is it considered retaking a course?
A2. No, it is not. Since the grade has already been withdrawn, it is regrarded as a new course.
Q3. I understand the withdrawn grade does not influence GPA, is there any disadvantage, and how is it shown on the transcript?
A3. There is no disadvantage resulting from a grade withdrawal. It is not shown on the transcript at all.
Q4. Can I only withdraw the grade from a course that cannot be retaken?
A4. The original purpose of the grade withdrawal was to ease students'difficulties caused by a change in their curriculum. However, it is now more widely applied to all courses to allow students to withdraw their grade for any course.
Q5. Can I apply for a grade withdrawal during a leave of absence?
A5. No, you cannot. You can only apply for it when you are enrolled.
