SKKU held ceremony to celebrate construction of Barrier Free Environment in Hoam Hall

Sungkyunkwan University built a ramp on the road of Hoam Hall to facilitate access for the disabled and to construct a barrier-free environment on campus. It also held a ceremony to celebrate the construction of the Hoam Hall Barrier Free environment on November 2 (Tue), 2021.

University Officials such as President Shin Dong Ryeol and executive board member Joo Young Soo participated in the ceremony to celebrated that disabled students could enjoy campus life without any difficulties.

Prior to the creation of the Hoam Hall Barrier Free environment, our university has made efforts to support disabled students by introducing vehicles to support disabled students, expanding revolving doors and installing automatic doors throughout the university long before.

In addition, our university was selected as the best university in the 2020 evaluation of educational welfare support for students with disabilities by producing and providing subtitles for major iCampus online lectures and introducing a text translation system for remote lectures for non-face-to-face classes.
