1. Courses and Curriculums

Chinese Education department provides numerous courses in fields of Chinese Education.
Students who are following a curriculum to become a teacher should complete more than 7 courses (14 credits), in more than 5 fields of Chinese Education.

2. Special Entry Requirements (Graduate)

• Those who want to enter as a Chinese Education major in the Special Graduate school should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a similar major (ex. Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese Language, Chinese Studies)
  • Completion of minimum 36 credits in majors stated above

3. Facilities

All Special Graduate School students preparing for the Teacher Appointment Test can use reading room in the Hoam Buidling (50103). Also, there is a room equipped with computers and printers for students to practice teaching skills and produce learning materials.

4. Exchanges and Partnerships

We are in partnership with more than 30 elementary, middle and high schools. Students can practice their teaching skill at those schols for 4 weeks through <Student Teaching in Practice>.
Also, students in the Chinese Education major can benefit from international exchanges through the Department of Chinese Language and Literature.
