This course aims to explore future education and future leaders in education. In this course, students will experience various predictions about future, future education, and future school by professionals and leaders in the world. Besides, students can study about various theories and perspectives of leadership in education. The objectives of of this course are as follows. First, students look into the future society and future education presented by experts and leaders in the world. Second, students predict what future education and future schools will look like based on experts' and leaders’ predictions. Third, students will understand various educational leadership theories and perspectives based on cases. Fourth, students will predict the image and leadership of educational leaders (principals, teachers) suitable for future education and future schools. To achieve these learning goals, the following activities will be performed in this class. First, students will study future forecast reports from international organizations. Second, students will watch and discuss articles and videos about future predictions by futurology experts and leaders. Third, students read academic articles and policy research on future education and future schools and discuss what future schools will look like. The objective of this course is to provide graduate students majoring in educational administration and education with an expanded understanding of the concept and significance of global citizenship education. The course will delve into various theoretical approaches and analyze cases of diverse global citizenship education programs implemented by the United Nations, UN member states, and non-governmental organizations. By the end of the course, students will have gained a deeper understanding of major theories and will be able to propose directions for global citizenship education.

MAE3029 Mathmatics in Artificial Intelligence 3 6 Major Bachelor Mathematics Education Korean Yes
In this course, we first deal with the mathematical contents that are helpful in studying machine learning, and based on this, we introduce the four elements of machine learning. Mathematics contents covered are linear algebra, analytic geometry, matrix decomposition, vector calculus, and probability and distribution. In addition, theoretical optimization contents and optimization methodology dealing with techniques such as gradient descent are also studied. Based on these mathematical contents, regression, dimensionality reduction, density estimation, and classification are introduced, and further, neural networks and deep learning are briefly covered.
