The purpose of this course is to assist graduate students in counseling psychology education of master program or undergraduate students who are interested in applying the counselor education program with obtaining research competencies and academic writing skills at advanced level. This course is designed to provide acquiring advanced knowledge in research design and procedure when doing quantitative/qualitative studies, such as survey development, participants, data collection and management/cleaning. Additionally, at advanced level psychometrics and measurement issues, statistical analysis, and interpretation of statistical results will be addressed. This course is also designed to help students develop academic writing competencies, training and practice will be provided in the course based on his/her own research manuscript. Finally, this course will be provided on the basis of individual or team level research and writing consultation at advanced level.
