This course will cover future of education, expected roles of teachers, and competencies of teachers in AI era.

EDAD025 Educational Leadership in Future 2 4 Major Master 1-5 Korean Yes
This course aims to explore future education and future leaders in education. In this course, students will experience various predictions about future, future education, and future school by professionals and leaders in the world. Besides, students can study about various theories and perspectives of leadership in education. The objectives of of this course are as follows. First, students look into the future society and future education presented by experts and leaders in the world. Second, students predict what future education and future schools will look like based on experts' and leaders’ predictions. Third, students will understand various educational leadership theories and perspectives based on cases. Fourth, students will predict the image and leadership of educational leaders (principals, teachers) suitable for future education and future schools. To achieve these learning goals, the following activities will be performed in this class. First, students will study future forecast reports from international organizations. Second, students will watch and discuss articles and videos about future predictions by futurology experts and leaders. Third, students read academic articles and policy research on future education and future schools and present what future schools will look like. Fourth, students will understand various educational leadership theories and perspectives by reading and watching academic research and actual cases. Fifth, students will
ERP4001 Creative Group Study 3 6 Major Bachelor/Master - No
This course cultivates and supports research partnerships between our undergraduates and faculty. It offers the chance to work on cutting edge research—whether you join established research projects or pursue your own ideas. Undergraduates participate in each phase of standard research activity: developing research plans, writing proposals, conducting research, analyzing data and presenting research results in oral and written form. Projects can last for an entire semester, and many continue for a year or more. SKKU students use their CGS(Creative Group Study) experiences to become familiar with the faculty, learn about potential majors, and investigate areas of interest. They gain practical skills and knowledge they eventually apply to careers after graduation or as graduate students.
