Korean Education (Special Graduate)

The Korean Education major in the Special Graduate School aims to re-educate those who are currently working as teachers or at education-related institutions, and to produce highly qualified middle and high school teachers in Korean.

Through education of theoretical and applied knowledge in the major, students can become experts in Korean Language. Also, for those who choose to follow the curriculum leading to teaching, they can graduate with a 'Teacher’s Certificate as a Secondary School Teacher (Grade II)'.

Graduates will work as Korean Language teachers in middle/ high schools or private institutions. Alternatively, they may continue their studies advancing onto doctorate courses in graduate school. Others work in HRD departments of corporations or educational institutions.
