Q1. Can a student on a leave of absence apply for the exchange student program or the study abroad program?
A1. A student on a leave of absence can apply for the exchange student program or the study abroad program. However, the student must return to the university at the time of dispatch. So, the student must be enrolled at the university during the exchange/study abroad period.
Q2. How many semesters should an applicant have finished and how many remaining semesters should an applicant have?
A2. Generally, undergraduate students (including students on a leave of absence)can apply after completing two semesters. Graduates and transfer students can apply after completing one semesters. Since the students must spend their last semester at SKKU, a student can only be dispatched for a year when they have three semesters left before graduation. If a student is being dispatched for six months he/she needs to have two semesters left before graduation.

In other words, get confirmation an dprior approval for the course sign-up plan from the chair of the department before departure. When the transcript arrives at the university after the exchange/study abroad semester, submit the trascript to the student's college administrative affice and to get the credits accepted.
