Guidance on submission of Evidential documents for 2022-2 'Educational Volunteer Activity' (CFTD078)
Students who registered for 2022-2 'Educational Volunteer Activity' must submit evidential documents by the deadline.
1. Documents Submission Period: 2022.11.15.(Tue)~2022.12.02.(Fri)<Deadline must be met for the confirmation of grades>
2. Where to Submit : College of Education Administration Office (Hoam-hall 50207) or by email (bhb0212@skku.edu)
3. Required Documents :
① Plan for the EducationalVolunteerActivity
② Application for the registration of volunteer services
: In case of having done volunteer services in more than one organization, add up the time by organization.
ex. 2016.6.1.~6.30 15 hours / School A / after-school guidance
2017.3.1.~4.30 20 hours / School B / Teaching Mathematics
2018.5.1.~6.30 25 hours/ School C / after-school guidance
③ Written confirmation forthe EducationalVolunteerActivity (should submit the original)
: Separate forms of each school can be used and it should be stamped with the official seal of the head of the institution. (The service hours and contents must be written by date)
: If you have served through the Dong-haeng project, submit a confirmation form printed from the Dong-haeng website. (must exclude pre-training hours)
※ Volunteer Service in Education should be conducted purely as volunteer activities, and would not be recognized if having received expense support or compensation from the relevant school or other institution.
※ Since Volunteer Services in Education is a volunteer activity for the teacher’s certificate, you should do the volunteer work related to [education, teaching] in [school] unlike other general social activities. Also, you should submit evidential documents for volunteer work for at least 60 hours(within eight hours per day) to get a credit.
When you get a credit, it would be marked as P(pass) on your report card, and if you do not submit the documents, it will be processed as F.
※ Since it is a course to obtain a secondary school teacher’s certificate, it cannot be recognized in duplicate with the service hours of [Personality Quality] required for the graduation.
